ABOUT THE TECH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

The Tech Alumni Association seeks to create ongoing communication and interaction with alumni as well as the current Bradley Tech community and strives to develop professional relationships among Boys' Tech, Milwaukee Tech, and Bradley Tech High School alumni.  The goals of the Tech Alumni Association are to:

  • Develop a comprehensive database of Alumni

  • Assist with the planning and organization of Tech reunions and social events

  • Coordinate nominations for the Tech Athletic Hall of Fame and Alumni Hall of Excellence

  • Provide 2 and 4-year college scholarships and apprenticeship assistance for graduating seniors

  • Provide a network of internships, job placement and professional development opportunities for both current Bradley Tech students and Tech Alumni

As a Tech Alum, you play a crucial role in helping us translate our incredible Tech tradition into increased Tech Alumni Association membership. Our organization exists to unite alumni and magnify their impact at Tech and in the community; in return, we ask the following:

  • Join the Alumni Association. Annual dues are $30, tax-deductible, and payable online or in person at association meetings

  • If you have friends or relatives who are Tech alum, urge them to join the Association.

  • Ask at least one other Tech alum or supporter to join. Just think – if everyone did this, our membership would double overnight!

Membership in the Tech Alumni Association offers a rich array of benefits, but joining the association is more than paying dues or attending meetings – it’s a chance to become engaged with the entire Tech Trojan community.  Finally, by joining the Tech Alumni Association, you are providing a significant boost to Tech’s reputation as a change agent and leader in Secondary education in Milwaukee. Alumni engagement is one of the several measures of quality used to rank High School success in the United States.  Joining the Alumni Association helps Tech – and you.

Sincerely,

Anthony Staton Sr., ‘86

President, Tech Alumni Association

Our Vision

As a member-focused organization, the Tech Alumni Association seeks to foster and support the past, present and future graduates, who, through desire and workmanship, establish a membership organization that will assist in revitalizing and sustaining the legacy and tradition of our alma mater.

Our History

Tech was was founded in 1906 as Boys' Technical and Trade School, and changed its name to Milwaukee Trade & Technical High School in 1976, when women were first admitted. The school’s name was changed to Lynde and Harry Bradley Technology and Trade School in 2002 following a donation by Jane Pettit.
